Jackass 4.5 contains 23 stunts that didn't make it into Jackass Forever, including hard hits and light-hearted pranks, but which is the movie's best?

Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Jackass 4.5.

Jackass 4.5 features stunts and pranks that didn't make it on to Jackass Forever, and here's each of them ranked from worst to best. Jackass 4.5 is a mix of behind-the-scenes footage of Jackass Forever's best moments, interviews with the crew, and previously unseen stunts. The Jackass franchise is still immensely popular with the original members of the group, led by Johnny Knoxville, reaching legendary status in the stunt world.

The old guard is joined by the same new faces that appeared in Jackass Forever, including Zach Holmes, Poopies, and Rachel Wolfson. Comedian Eric André also gets in on the action having starred in the 2021 hidden camera movie Bad Trip, which was produced by Jackass co-creator Jeff Tremaine. Although the new recruits are definitely put through their paces, Jackass 4.5's most brutal stunts feature "Danger" Ehren McGhehey and Preston Lacy, who have both been part of the team since the Jackass TV show.

Available now on Netflix, Jackass 4.5 is a B-side movie and a majority of the footage used does not reach the same quality as the stunts in Jackass Forever. But while Jackass 4.5 doesn't have quite the same production value as Jackass Forever, it still has a number of worthy entries to the franchise. Here's every Jackass 4.5 stunt ranked from worst to best.

By his own admission, Steve-O's condom drop stunt in Jackass 4.5 didn't turn out as planned. After 15 attempts trying to get a condom full of his own waste to cover his head without bursting, the crew gave up. Had it worked then the clip may have found its way into Jackass Forever, but given its failure, it was relegated to a Jackass 4.5.

Jackass newcomer Zach Holmes and veteran Preston Lacy square off in a long-jump contest. However, rather than landing in a sandpit they body dive onto the prone bodies of the rest of the crew. Chris Pontius and new star Rachel Wolfson officiate the event, which sees Wee-Man get hit the worst when Preston's knee is driven straight into him.

As part of the Jackass Forever test shoot, the group replicated a stunt that Steve-O had previously done. Doubling up as Poopies' initiation, he is joined by Dave England and Preston Lacy as they have hot sauce filtered into their butts. The scene is one movie's grossest as it ends with some of the crew eating defecated ice pops.

Not one for the squeamish, Jackass 4.5's Friendly Game Of Chance sees Dave England, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, and Poopies line up on a platform, each with a brick tied to their penis. For two of the returning Jackass Forever stars, the string attached to the brick is not long enough to reach the ground. While Steve-O doesn't suffer too much from losing, Dave England is left in agony.

A short clip from Jackass 4.5 sees Dave England get whipped by a horse rider who jumps over Steve-O. It is arguably the most spiteful stunt in the movie because there's nothing that England can do to get away or brace himself from the hit.

The Electric Eel saw Wee-Man attempt to pass electricity from an electric eel through his body and onto Danger Ehren. Although the stunt worked, the visual was not Jackass 4.5's best despite the costumes worn by those involved. The highlight of the segment was Wee-Man, dressed as Benjamin Franklin, trying to get his intro lines right.

A simple but effective stunt, I'll Show Me sees new Jackass star Poopies stand at the top of a step ladder and knock it over himself using a sledgehammer. It's low production values make it the sort of clip that wouldn't have been out of place in the original Jackass TV series. However, its budgetary constraints are outshone by its high level of danger.

One of Jackass 4.5's quickest stunts featured Johnny Knoxville firing a boxing glove-tipped arrow at newcomer Jasper Dolphin. The slow-motion shot was a classic, short Jackass clip that undoubtedly was as painful as it looked. However, it lacked the intricacy of some of the movie's more complex stunts.

Hot S**t Water Skiing was a stunt that probably looked better on paper than it did in execution. While water skiing, Poopies attempted to go up a ramp and use a jetpack to propel himself through the air. Although it is a fun watch, unfortunately, the stunt didn't work as well as Johnny Knoxville's Flight Of Icarus, one of Jackass Forever's planned stunts, but it did get better when professional wakeboarder Parks Bonifay had a try.

Steve-O is known for taking on the gnarlier Jackass stunts and it was no different in Jackass 4.5. In Dine And Dash, he had fish placed in and around his naked body, then waited for an eagle to swoop down to take the bait. The anticipation of the stunt is better than the final execution, although the bird does eventually claw and peck at Steve-O.

The Ballknocker is one of the more painful-looking stunts of Jackass 4.5. Playing off of the big and small dynamic as they did in Jackass Forever, Wee-Man is squashed between the swinging pair of Preston Lacy and Zach Holmes. The slow-motion replay makes The Ballknocker look all the more agonizing as Wee-Man is sandwiched between his two friends.

Johnny Knoxville's movie roles include Irving Zisman from the Jackass spin-off Bad Grandpa. Zisman pranks Brad, an unwitting carer who is hired to watch over him. When Zisman sets off a fire alarm, Brad is swarmed by fifteen naked old men and the scantily clad Chris Pontius who leads a Party Boy dance session.

The Swingset Gauntlet sees Johnny Knoxville, Jasper Dolphin, and Dave England ride past a swing set on a conveyor belt as other Jackass crew members try to hit them. Special guest Nick Merlino gets hit the worst, as Chris Pontius swings down to send the professional skateboarder flying in the air.

The Jackass movies have always had a few particularly disgusting scenes and Zach Sashimi fits the bill for Jackass 4.5. Reminiscent of the Sweatsuit Cocktail in Jackass 3, Zach Holmes has sashimi placed in different body parts and is then wrapped in plastic and forced to work out. The older Jackass crew members and Rachel Wolfson eat the sweaty sashimi, causing cameraman Lance Bangs to throw up once again on set.

As well as Dine And Dash, Steve-O's has another, more successful, stunt featuring a bird of prey in Jackass 4.5. The simple stunt saw Steve-O lose his eyebrows as a bird swooped down to grab a target that was attached to wax strips on his eyebrows. As the bird flew off so did Steve-O's eyebrows, leaving him with a hilarious, confused expression on his face.

Play Ball is one of Jackass 4.5's more meticulously planned stunts. Zach Holmes is painted as a giant baseball and propelled down a waterslide to take out Johnny Knoxville and Wee-Man, knocking the latter out of his shoes. Play Ball is more or less a high-production version of stunts like Long Jump, but the idea is much more visually impressive.

The Cup Test pays homage to classic stunts from Jackass history and is one of Jackass 4.5's most excruciating stunts. Not making it on to Jackass Forever like other parts of The Cup Test, the bowling ball scene sees professional bowler Missy Parkin launch two 16lb balls into the crotch of Danger Ehren. Although it wasn't quite as good as The Cup Test stunts in Jackass Forever, no one will be envious of Ehren.

Jackass 4.5 opens with a medley of pranks and stunts accompanied by a rock version of "If You're Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough", the song that has come to define Jackass. The opening sequence ends with its most painful stunt, as Zach Holmes, who has everything but his head buried under sand, is pinched by a crab held by Johnny Knoxville. All of the Jackass crew feature, except Bam Magera who doesn't appear in Jackass 4.5.

Another "whack 'em" stunt, Down The Clown featured tennis star Shannon Gibbs serving balls straight into various members of the Jackass crew. While Eric André gets struck more than anyone else, Preston Lacy definitely gets it the worst as he is hit in the sore spot that he already injured during Big Game Hunting filmed earlier for Jackass 4.5.

Going back to basics, the Blindfold Race pit saw members of the crew run an obstacle course while blindfolded. What ensues is a minute of textbook Jackass bumps as the guys run into tables, chairs, and everything else in their way. The winner of the race, Poopies, is the scene's highlight, as he sprints at top speed into almost every obstacle on his way to victory.

Joined by the star of his own interview pranking series The Eric André Show, Eric André joins Chris Pontius and Johnny Knoxville to fire tennis balls from a comically large rifle at Preston Lacy, Zach Holmes, and Wee-Man who are dressed as elephants. The stunt is similar to Down The Clown, but the fun setup and the impact of the balls, particularly the hit on Preston Lacy, make it better.

Jackass 4.5's most elaborate stunt is also one of its best. Dark Shark, Jasper's dad who is terrified of heights, agrees to skydive but the Jackass crew pranks him by pretending the plane is malfunctioning. Although Dark Shark was the target of the stunt, the scariest part is when Johnny Knoxville almost slips out of his parachute while falling through the sky. Thankfully everyone survived unscathed, unlike other Jackass stunts that have caused injuries, and it made for a great scene for Jackass 4.5 to end on.

Jackass 4.5's best stunt is one of its simplest. After production was shut down for seven months due to COVID-19, the crew returned and on their first day attended what they thought was a health protocol meeting. Moments into the meeting, a bouncy castle was set off to throw all of the Jackass members off of their seats. The stunt is a genuinely unexpected jump scare that clearly set the tone for Jackass Forever and Jackass 4.5 as the crew made their way back from more than half a year away from filming.
